We are committed to a transparent credentialing process, giving providers the right to review, verify, and correct information used in credentialing determinations.
All contracted providers will be notified via phone call or e-mail and will be allowed to review any information obtained from outside sources (i.e., state licensing boards, malpractice insurance carriers) to support their credentialing application. Health Network One is not required to make references, recommendations or peer-related protected information available to the applicant.
Providers will also have the ability to correct erroneous information that was identified through primary source verification that differs from their application, and they have the right to obtain credentialing status upon request. All corrections must be submitted within 14 days, and the changes will be presented to the Credentialing Committee.
